Placing the first deck at Agigea Bridge – right shore
Agigea Bridge over the Danube – Black Sea Canal – On Sunday, July 28, 2013, the first section of the Bridge deck was installed over the Danube – Black Sea Canal, located in the Constanta Port area. It has the longest opening in Romania between piles (200 m), and together with the viaducts, it forms a connection of 907 m between the two banks of the canal.

Montarea primului tablier la Podul Agigea – culeea mal drept
Podul de la Agigea – Duminica, 28 iulie 2013, s-a montat primul tronson din tablierul Podului peste Canalul Dunare – Marea Neagra, situat in zona Portului Constanta. Podul va avea cea mai mare lungime din Romania intre 2 piloni (200m) si, impreuna cu viaductele, vor forma o punte de 907m lungime intre cele doua maluri ale Canalului. Doi piloni, inalti de 65m, vor sustine prin hobane (cabluri de otel) acest Pod.

Relocating the statues from the University Square
Spiru Haret, Gheorghe Lazăr, Mihai Viteazul şi Heliade Rădulescu au revenit sâmbătă pe locul lor iniţial de la Universitate.
Operaţiunea de mutare a început la 5:30 dimineaţa, prima statuie fiind cea a lui Spiru Haret, având o înălţime de 9,5 metri şi o greutate de 124 tone. Au urmat pe rand, Gheorghe Lazăr (8.5 m, 117 t), Mihai Viteazul (8 m, 97 t), si Heliade Rădulescu (9 m, 104 t). Pentru transport, care a durat aproximativ o oră pentru fiecare statuie, s-a folosit un treiler mlodular special adus din Austria, iar pentru încărcare şi descărcare, două macarale speciale de 500 si 250 tone. La operaţiune a participat o echipă de aproximativ 100 oameni, care s-au coordonat perfect.
